The hotel is perfectly located (historical center, near Hoan Kiem Lake). The hotel staff is welcoming, attentive and very helpful. Mr. Cuong made every effort to speak French and learn. The rooms are very clean, spacious, air conditioned and equipped with a mini fridge. Bathroom also very clean. The breakfast is simple but very good and always served with a smile. Excellent quality / price ratio.

This hotel is located in the heart of the Old Quarter, just a three-minute walk from the lake. It is in a great area, with plenty of options for dining and shopping within walking distance. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. The rooms are comfortable, with basic amenities provided, and there is even a private computer available to help plan your next steps in your trip. The breakfast is also a highlight, with a nice view of the old quarter and a good selection of food.
All was good with no issues to mention.

This budget friendly hotel is well situated in Hanoi old quarter for those not afraid of heavy trafic. The staff and manager will be on hands and knees to help their clients. Cwong, the manager, accompanied us to the train station, and even picked us up at the same train station at 5 am when we returned from our tours that he booked for us. The prices for the tours seem a bit more expensive then others, but the tours are good quality and he pays for taxi to train station and the excedent is well worth it for all the trouble the manager goes to help his client.

We were very happy with the Symphony Hotel, the location was excellent, budget friendly and staff extremely helpful. We booked several tours through the hotel recommendations and they were great. We booked the superior deluxe room double and was pleasantly surprised with the roominess.
The breakfast menu was very limited and as we stayed five nights, I would have liked some change perhaps cereal to be available. Also for tea bags/coffee supplied in each room. Our toiletries were not restocked over the five days.

Staying at this hotel was a truly pleasant experience. the location is just perfect - right in the middle of the bustling old quarter, making it incredibly convenient and easy to find great food and coffee within walking distance. The service provided by the staff was also exceptional. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Additionally, the rooms were clean and spacious, exceeding our expectations for the price we paid. Another positive aspect was the complimentary breakfast, which, although not very varied, provided enough options to satisfy our hunger in the morning.
Our stay at this hotel was great with no major issues.

The staff at Symphony Hotel were fantastic. I felt very comfortable there traveling as a single mum with my daughter our first time in Vietnam. The helped us select a tour for Halong Bay and it was amazing, guide us around to places and select restaurants. I even accidently left all of my cash on a chair in reception and all of it was waiting for me when I returned. Breakfast is basic but for $20 a night its fantastic value. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Only down side the beds are hard, but they are hard every where in Asia.

I chose this hotel for attending a business conference as it provides 10 air-conditioned accommodations with computers. The facilities were convenient and I was able to work comfortably during my stay.
The one service that I missed for my work was a dedicated business center.

This is a great hub for a visit to Northen Vietnam, the staff is very very helful and will help you with visits to Ha Long Bay and Sapa. We booked everthing through them and they made sure that everything would run smoothly and made all efforts so we could be happy and stress-free through our trip. Thank you for that!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel during my trip to Vietnam and it was truly a great experience. The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is situated in the heart of the city, within walking distance from the bus station and just a few minutes away from the beautiful lake. Being in the center area, I found it very convenient to explore everything the city has to offer.
My stay at this hotel was perfect, and I couldn't find any faults.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted enthusiastically and made welcome. The location in the heart of the Old Quarter is convenient and entertaining but the most outstanding feature of the hotel is the helpful and caring advice by the staff. They expertly advised us on excursions we wished to make to Halong Bay and Sapa. They made all the arrangements and it worked out perfectly. The manager even wisked us off to the train station himself to ensure that the right exchange was made for the ticket vouchers. With the side trips it turned out we stayed at the hotel three distinct times. Each time we received great service. This has been great value which became even better when we were delightfully to be upgraded on our last two days.

The hotel is good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Every room has a computer with internet, WIFI and airconditioning. The hotel employees are very nice and helpfull. For example: when we went to Sapa they brought us to the train station and picked us up when we arrived. We travel Vietnam from North to South and hope every hotel is as good as this one. We also booked our trips to Halong Bay and Sapa. Where lonely planet says you must not book trips at a hotel, we really recommend to book these trips at at the Symphony hotel.
The breakfast is not very special but good.
